I didn’t set out to build a company. I set out to find a place.
After thirty years of building ventures and crossing time zones, I started asking a question that had nothing to do with business: where would I go — not for a week, but for the rest of my life?
The answer was Noto. The light does something to you here. The stone is warm at sunset. The food is so honest it feels like a conversation. I bought land. I started building a home. And then the people around me started making the same decision. They brought their families. They chose the same place, for the same reasons.
That’s when I understood that what I was building wasn’t just a home. It was a platform for others asking the same question — people who have achieved everything the world says matters, and now want something it can’t easily sell them.
